I just learned a few minutes ago that FRI made our challenge, raising a little over $15,900 with 53 contributors!

I am so proud of the people of Far East Dallas who believe in getting involved with their community and who are willing to identify the things needing to be changed and then willing to roll-up their sleeves, and work shoulder-to-shoulder with one another until these changes become reality. Furthermore, I am grateful to the Dallas philanthropic community who stand behind FRI as we celebrate our accomplishments, like building an $8.5M library, and who see how building the first Regional Recreation Wellness Center in our City will be an economic generator for ALL of far East Dallas. Thank you to everyone who contributed!

Vikki J. Martin, FRI President
