FRI's VITA center (located at the White Rock Church of Christ; 2615 Hibiscus) has just announced that they will be closed this evening due to weather. IRS reports that we have served 150 taxpayers in our first two weeks, outcomes include 112 accepted e-filed federal returns, 3 accepted e-filed state returns, 10 paper returns, and 28 in progress returns for over $375,000 in refunds. A BIG congratulations and thanks to our many volunteers!!
