FRI to Host Second Candidate Forum for City Council District 7 on April 7

Tuesday, April 7, 2015, 6-8 p.m.
White Rock Church of Christ Fellowship Hall
9220 Ferguson Road

Our first Candidate Forum last week for
FRICandidateForum-Dist92015-03-31 (1)
District 9 was a huge success! We had a great turn-out and really had an opportunity to get to know the candidates.

We are looking forward to our next Candidate Forum this coming Tuesday, this time for District 7. FRI is a grass-root, nonprofit organization that has worked hard over the last 15 years to earn the respect of City Hall. We have a reputation of being fair, thorough, transparent, organized, and we are best known for our ability to work shoulder-to-shoulder with our Council Representatives and City Staff to help create meaningful change in Far East Dallas.

The FRI target area of Far East Dallas is shared by both Districts 7 & 9. On May 9th we will elect new representation at City Hall. That’s why FRI is hosting two Candidate Forums, one for each district, so that you can better understand the issues shared by Districts 7 & 9. We have a strong track record of working well with all of our Council Representatives over the years and we are looking forward to working with the next elected team!

Candidates Include:
Hasani Burton
Kevin Felder
Baranda Fermin
John Lawson
Randall Parker
James Turknet
Juanita Wallace
Tiffinni Young
