Doctors Hospital at White Rock Lake Celebrates 55th Anniversary by Donating to The Family Place
DALLAS, TX (January 13, 2015) ― In honor of Doctors Hospital at White Rock Lake’s 55 years of caring for the East Dallas community, the hospital selected The Family Place as the second recipient to receive funds for the purchase of pillows and robes for their residents.
The Family Place is a nonprofit agency that helps families hurt by domestic violence. The Family Place empowers victims of family violence by providing safe housing, counseling and skills that create independence while building community engagement and advocating for social change to stop family violence.
