Coffee With Cops to be Held at McDonalds this Friday, 12.20.13

The Dallas Police Department is inviting people to McDonald’s locations across the city for a free coffee and to chat with officers who patrol their neighborhoods.

Coffee with Cops is planned for 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., this Friday, December 20. Larry Ingram, FRI Founder’s Circle member and owner of the McDonald’s franchise at 8117 East R. L. Thornton, will be on hand to meet and greet the FRI community of far East Dallas. Deputy chiefs and neighborhood patrol officers will answer questions. McDonald’s will give one cup of coffee to customers. Chief of Police David Brown is scheduled to attend.

"Please join us on Friday for a cup of coffee, meet our hardworking law enforcement team, thank Larry for his support of our area schools, neighborhoods, and FRI community AND to sign the FRI petition in support of our Regional Recreation Wellness Center to be built near the Ferguson/Highland Road intersection!" Vikki J. Martin, FRI president
