When FRI formed in 1998, there were only five viable neighborhood associations and now we have more than 35organized Neighborhood Associations and Crime Watch groups that serve and protect their areas. FRI communicates regularly with neighborhood leaders of these groups to collaborate on priority community issues. In addition, we work with the apartment community to ensure safe, clean, and affordable housing for the low-income families in Far East Dallas.
