Book Drive for Kids
FRI has been partnering with Book Drive for Kids to help sponsor a book drive in all the FRI elementary schools and providing every student with their own book of their choosing to keep.
Lions Free Little Library
The Lions Club are creating small “lending” libraries at apartment complexes that serve a significant number of at-risk families. There will be books for all ranges and ages, depending on the space available. Partners in the project include:
- The Dallas Founder Lions Club,
- It’s About the Kids,
- Ferguson Road Initiative,
- State Representative, Jasmine Crockett,
- Books will be provided at no charge by Half-Priced Books.

Operation Beautification Video
Cleanup on Saturday, March 4th! Over 5,500 lbs. of trash was collected and 215 lbs. of food was donated!
