This demographic\, combined with the fact that FRI’s two City Council Districts 7 & 9 comprise the largest senior citizen populations in Dallas\, make our community especially vulnerable to the COVID-19 pandemic. FRI is needed to help marshal information and resources to these populations. Representatives from the Dallas Police will provide some additional insight and history of safety in the FRI neighborhoods. Circle Grill Restaurant\, 3701 N. Buckner Blvd. \nRemember\, every 3rd Wednesday the FRI Community Connection breakfast will be held focusing on different businesses and topics in our community. As community members and business leaders come together to blur the line between commerce and community. Location will change from month to month. If you are a Community Connection member and would like to host a breakfast at your location\, please let the FRI office know.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for our first social!\nDrop-in and visit a bit or stay a lot! Come by and meet other people and businesses in the area. Café Lago is providing snacks and beverages. There will be a COD bar.\nIf you wish\, stay for dinner after our event. \nMembers can pick up their membership packet.\nWelcome and comments will be at 6:00pm. \nIn the spirit of the holiday\, we are collecting gifts for women who are in recovery at Nexus\, a neighborhood nonprofit organization. Executives of Nexus will be in attendance.\nBring Coats\, sweaters\, toiletries.
