DESCRIPTION:During this season of gratitude\, the Ferguson Road Initiative takes this occasion as another opportunity to say thank you. \nThank you for supporting our: \n\nAdvocacy efforts to help ensure the residents of Far East Dallas receive the amenities and social service opportunities that improve our quality of life. The grand opening of CreekSide/White Rock Hills Park was a milestone event representing decades of work that is transforming our community into a recreation destination.\nCommunity Building connection systems help broaden the impact of our nonprofits and faith community partners by helping to coordinate services and communications throughout the community.\nCommunication efforts through both print and digital channels which provide important information regarding community resources and activities. Our FRIdays print magazine\, NewsFlash. digital newletters\, FaceBook and other social media platforms reach an estimated 25\,000 households.\nCommunity Health leadership addresses the challenges of COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy. Since June 2021 FRI has facilitated more than thirty (30) pop-up vaccine clinics throughout Far East Dallas. Making the receipt of this life-saving vaccine convenient to where people live\, work\, and go to school is critical to protecting our community.\n\nYour Year-End-Gift to the Ferguson Road Initiative helps make sustaining these activities possible. Every gift is important to us as we rely on members and friends like you from the community to continue our vital community-building work.
