DESCRIPTION:FERGUSON ROAD INITIATIVE and RESULTS to Host Advocacy Workshop\nWould you like to learn how to be a better advocate for your community?  Have you ever contacted a political official to express your opinion?  Would you like to learn to lead with action?  Then this workshop is for you! \nFRI is excited to announce a partnership with RESULTS\, a nonprofit organization of committed volunteers who collectively use their voices to influence political decisions that will end poverty.  The leaders of RESULTS have generously volunteered to conduct a hands-on workshop to teach residents in Far East Dallas how to powerfully advocate for our community through speaking\, writing and meeting with our public officials.  \nJoin us for a hands-on advocacy training that will equip participants to make a difference.\nJune 15\, 2019 at noon-3:35 pm\nWhite Rock Hills Library (9150 Ferguson Road)\nFree for FRI members and $5 for non-members.
