Help ensure that our new library isn’t hamstrung by budget cuts

Just as we’re finally about to get our own White Rock Hills Branch library, word comes that budget cuts threaten our already underfunded library system.

The Lakewood / East Dallas Advocate has details of Friends of the Dallas Public Library’s efforts in this arena and ways that you can get involved and help.

Should Dallas spend less on libraries than any other major city? Less than Fort Worth? That’s what’s going to happen if action isn’t taken.
